Practice and professional life
Fernando Méndez is an associate of LEGALSA, where he leads the labor and employment practice. With 18 years of professional experience, Fernando specializes in consultancy and representation of employers on legal issues of individual and collective labor relations, including litigation, administrative proceedings and collective bargaining negotiations. He also has extensive experience in the area of conflict resolution, especially civil, administrative and criminal. Before joining LEGALSA, Fernando led the labor practice in Guatemala for a leading Central American law firm, worked in the litigation practice of another leading national firm, and was a legal counsel to the Guatemalan Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
